My research sits at the frontier of artificial intelligence and education. My PhD, completed at Brunel University of London, focused on pedagogical AI conversational agents, building and evaluating LLM-powered systems that conduct assessments, reduce teacher burden, lower student anxiety and deliver intelligent, emotionally-aware feedback.
That research is not purely theoretical. I have worked in both tech and teaching, and held various positions throughout my career. From Software Developer to School Teacher, Senior Lecturer, Programme Leader, Head of Department, and more recently various C-Suite Executive roles across the UK, Europe and Southeast Asia — giving me a clear, practitioner-level view of where the latest technology meets the classroom, the staffroom and the boardroom.
I now channel that combination of scholarship and lived experience into consultancy: supporting doctoral researchers and helping institutions navigate digital transformation, working with businesses and non-profits on AI strategy, training, and governance.
